I'm on my second one of these as the first was replaced in the first month. And 14 months later, just long enough for whirlpool not to care, the microwave stopped heating again. It started resetting the clock almost immediately but I didn't think anything of it given I never used the clock. And of course whirlpool did not care and they don't manufacture replacement parts because it is so terrible, it wouldn't be cost effective.

My microwave was replaced 3 times, after the initial one I purchased. 4 Microwaves within a 1 1/2 years. Total Junk. Clock doesn't hold time, get the door sensor error, and 2 of them didn't heat anything up. I bought the trim kit because my microwave is built in and they won't reimburse me for it because it is an "add on". Stay away from this product because it is total junk and also Whirlpool has poor customer service!

Built our home in Feb 2018. Immediately got door errors, rests when door closes, etc. called the place we got it from, they sent a tech out. Yep, your board is bad but you have to call whirlpool to have it replaced. Called twice now.... waited on ohone for 10 minutes both times no answer after asking automated computer for a representative. NOT HAPPY.

Long story short: We bought a brand new house October 1st. Microwave started with a "door" error that would reset the entire microwave, clock, cook time, everything within 1 week. With the move and all going on, we did not get it replaced until 11/7. We just dealt with it for a month, which was just an annoyance, but not that bad. We had it replaced (easy process), but I had to take 1/2 day off work for it to be delivered. Within 3 days and 5 uses, the new unit is having the same issue. Now working on getting a 3rd one. I know it will fail too, but there is nothing I can do about it short of buying my own.
Our Church has 2 of these as well, installed in early August that are doing the exact same thing. That is is 4 units that have failed, soon to be 5 units, in a few months.
This is a garbage unit. DO NOT BUY THIS.
Even if my 3rd unit works fine for a few years, the headache and 1 full day off of work to get it them replaced is not worth it. Save your $300+ and buy something else.

Built in with the kit. Calibrated the power settings based on the fraction of the cycle time it is on. Energy output agrees with previous microwave. We use it several times a day using the cook-time and cook-power settings. Read the manual. I do not use it for the features. 30-second input by hitting start is quick and handy. Clock is intuitive to set.

This is my third microwave of this model! The first the door was hard to open and zeroed out when shut. The next one couldn't get the cook power to work, had several,people read instructions and try, nothing, this one is now canceling and zeroing out and giving a door reading, in other words it is working either! A horrible product and not up to Whirlpools usual standards. All of this since December! Now waiting for them to come on line!!
